Send a message to the person who requested a photo of the grave monument of John Wilson with the following comment:

I am resourcing details of Emma Amy Wilson (nee Mills formerly Whitbread) and John Wilson for my own family tree and also for the archeology department at Flinders University in Adelaide regarding Port Willunga where they lived prior to moving to Victoria. We know that John Wilson was a builder and built many properties in Port Willunga and also made some of the bricks for the Adelaide Gaol in 1840 - 1841 after arriving in 1839. We are trying to acertain the period he was actively building in the district. Emma Amy Wilson is my great great grandmother. Her first husband Isaac Whitbread died 2 days after arriving in Adelaide on 16/06/1840 and she married John Wilson in 1845. I have his first wife listed as Elizabeth Simmons and I think their daughter Elizabeth Slang (Emma Amy's step daughter is also buried at Rosedale
